Sustainability
Our commitment to the environment is woven into every aspect of our furniture-making process. From sourcing responsibly to minimising waste, we strive to create beautiful, long-lasting pieces that respect both your home and our planet.
All of our furniture is proudly made* in the UK in our Sheffield based workshop. By producing in the UK, we eliminate the need for long-distance shipping, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting the local economy. Our customers can take pride in knowing their furniture hasn’t travelled halfway around the world to reach them.
We take great pride in using only FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood in our furniture. This certification ensures that the wood we use comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. By choosing FSC-certified wood, we support sustainable forest management and help preserve forests for future generations.
*With the exception of our chairs and stools, which are only finished onsite in our workshop.

We believe in making the most of every piece of wood
That’s why we use offcuts – those smaller pieces that might otherwise go to waste, we have created smaller designs that utilise these offcuts. All our large machinery is fitted with dust and waste extraction meaning all the sawdust we create is compressed on site into briquettes which are then used in our furnace to heat the workshop. This not only reduces waste, but also cuts down on our energy consumption, making our production process even more sustainable.
Sustainability is about more than just the materials we use – it’s also about creating furniture that stands the test of time. Our pieces are designed with durability in mind, ensuring that they’ll be a part of your home for years to come. Investing in well-made, long-lasting furniture reduces the need for replacements and helps combat the throwaway culture.

When you purchase samples from us, you can rest assured that the packaging is either recyclable or made from recycled materials. We also use offcuts to create these samples, further reducing waste and making the most of every piece of wood.
90% of our deliveries are handled by our in-house vehicles and drivers. We group delivery routes by area to ensure economical and environmentally friendly deliveries, minimising our CO2 emissions. We avoid unnecessary one-off trips, and all our vans are low-emission vehicles.
By delivering the majority of our orders with our in-house vehicles and drivers, we reduce the need for unnecessary packaging, further minimising waste.
Sustainability is a core value that influences every decision we make. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our practices and reduce our environmental impact, ensuring that our beautiful, bespoke furniture is as kind to the planet as it is to your home.
