We recommend refinishing your Oak surface every 2-3 years depending on usage.

High usage areas such a coffee, kitchen and dining tables; we recommend every 2 years or whenever it shows signs of wear, whereas sideboards and shelves refinish as and when you require.

Universal Maintenance Oil 2 Mix is a universal maintenance oil used for refreshing and maintaining the protection of wood that was treated with Oil Plus 2C.

Please note we started using Rubio Monocoat finishes in Jan 2023 – if you are wanting to refinish a table from us received earlier than this date please get in touch and we can advise on what products need to be used.

Description

When the time comes to refresh your Oak surface please use this product in your original order colour and follow the instructions on the technical data sheet linked below.

Supplied with the Oil and accelerator mix is a scrubby pad that is used to rub the Oil into the surface. You will also require a brush and lint free cloth to complete this process – these are not included.
