We now offer our Farmhouse dining table with a Solid Oak Top option as standard.

The Farmhouse dining table is available with a painted pine frame – painted to any colour from the Farrow & Ball range as we colour match to the range.

The Solid Oak top is available in a choice of 6 different finishes. Please see the gallery for further images.

All pieces are made to order in our Sheffield, UK based workshop.

Description

Our handmade rustic Farmhouse dining table with optional matching rustic bench. Handcrafted in our Sheffield UK workshop, each piece is carefully made using 30-35mm solid Oak for the table and bench tops.

What finish is this table?
  • The first tabletop pictured is finished in Smoke 5%, the second tabletop is finished in Cotton White. The base is painted in All White.
How do I choose a stain colour?
  • You can choose from any of the 6 oiled finish options from the drop down box, please see the gallery images for our stain options.
How do I choose a paint colour?
  • The base can be painted in any Farrow & Ball colour (we match to their colour range.) Please state your paint choice in the ‘Order Notes’ at check out when placing your order.
What is the table made from?
  • The table top is made from solid Oak. Each plank is full of character and charm then planed and joined together to make a solid slab wooden top, flat, wipeable and smooth. The wood does have age-related cracks and marks which we fill with black resin and polish smooth. The table top is approximately 30-35mm thick. The handpicked tops will vary slightly with each one having it’s own individual character.
  • The base is made from new Pine and then painted to your chosen colour. If you are wanting an all wood finish in solid Oak, please see the separate listing.
Do the benches fit under the table?
  • Yes, the benches are made to fit in between the legs of the table as standard and have Farmhouse legs to match the table. We also offer a range of seating should you want chairs instead of benches
How many chairs will fit at my table?
  • Deduct 24cm from your table length/width, this will provide you with the space between the table legs for chairs. We recommend that you account for 3-4cm between chairs for a comfortable fit.
Can I have a bespoke sized table?
  • Of course! Our tables can be made to any size with a solid Oak top and the option of either a painted base or stained base. Please contact us direct if you require something a little different from the standard listing. We make lots of different styles of tables and furniture, that can be made to any size and finish please get in touch for a bespoke quote.
Can I have a drawer in my table frame?
  • Yes you can, these can be added to the long side of your table only, please select from the relevant size from the drop downs, see the size options below:

Size Options:

  • Small Drawer External measurements: 40 cm wide x 45 cm long
    Internal drawer Measurement: 36 cm wide x 41 cm long x 3.7 cm deep
  • Large Drawer External Measurements: 60 cm wide x 45 cm long
    Internal Drawer Measurement: 56 cm wide x 41 cm long x 3.7 cm deep
How do I choose handles for my drawer?
  • Pop over to our handles brochure and then select your choice from the drop down menu.
Can I add an extra drawer?
  • Yes! Just get in touch with us either by email or phone and we can add this to your order.
How does my table get delivered?
  • The legs of the dining table are removable to make delivery and access easier. Our delivery driver will bring the item into your home to the ground floor (further floors must be requested upon ordering and this is at our discretion) however it is a 1 man delivery service so there will need to be someone in the home to assist the driver on delivery day, the driver can assemble your order for you if you request this.

Product Specification

As standard our tables are approximately: 87cm wide, 76cm tall, 63cm from the floor to the underside of the skirt of the table. If you require a bespoke width or height, please contact us prior to ordering.

Please allow a 20mm tolerance for the table length and a 2mm tolerance for the table thickness as all our furniture is made by hand.

Below is an approximate guide of how many seats you can sit around the table. This is a general rule, but it depends on the size and style of chair sat at your table. Please contact us direct if you are unsure of what size to order.

4ft table – 4-6 people (2 people either side and 1 person at each end)
5ft table – 6 people (2 people either side and 1 person at each end)
6ft table – 6-8 people (3 people either side and 1 person at each end)
7ft table – 8 people (3 people either side and 1 person at each end)
8ft table – 10 people (4 people either side and 1 person at each end)
9ft table – 12 people (5 people either side and 1 person at each end)
10ft table –14 people (6 people either side and 1 person at each end)
