We know every screen is different and can alter the colour of a product when viewing on a desktop, mobile or tablet so we highly recommend ordering a wood sample to help pick your wood finish.

These finishes can be used on all pine top pieces of furniture. These finishes cannot be used on Oak.

Take the time to make sure you pick the finish that’s right for your home.

Seeing the finish in situ is always recommend to ensure you select the colour that best matches the rest of your home. While you may not get an exact match, look for matching tones (cool or warm) and complimenting colours.

Our pine samples measure approximately 12cm x 5cm x 7mm thick.

The sample pieces of pine have been stained with your chosen colour then 2 coats of matt acrylic varnish so you can see what the final finish looks like.

We recommend viewing the sample in all aspects of lighting to ensure you are happy with the finish – in natural light during the day and artificial light after sunset.

Please note samples are a colour guide only, pine is a natural material that can vary in its underlying tone with each plank, so will take on the finish differently; no two tables will be exactly the same.

There may not be knots and surface splits in every sample but please be aware these are present in our table tops with the nature of the Rustic Pine.

Pine is a soft wood compared to Oak (hard wood) so will be prone to dints and dents quicker than the latter, however this all adds to the character of your rustic pine furniture.
